Running a node is different from mining
A node lets you verify the network's rules and data independently. Mining requires additional specialised equipment. Running a node alone does not automatically generate KAS rewards.
Use a current version
Follow official releases and mainnet compatibility. Older guides may not reflect protocol changes.

On Kaspa Discord look for development and research channels. Include your software version and specific error when asking a technical question, without revealing secret keys.
